The Rock Chuck Derby was originally established by Frank Adams, owner of Outlaws and Angels Saloon in Bliss, Idaho. Frank was a great friend of Hannah’s and after Hannah had passed away Frank heard that she had taken her savings to buy new uniforms for her volleyball team. He was touched. Frank then decided to take the proceeds earned from the Rock Chuck Derby that year and donate the money to Hannah’s cause and the rest is history! The Hannah Bates Memorial Rock Chuck Derby is our biggest fundraiser of the year. In the last four years we have raised over $200,000.00 to donate to local schools and families in need.
